Sam Bairstow
DP World Tour & Challenge Tour 2023
A tough no-nonsense Yorkshireman, with an exceptional scoring record. Bairstow sets example after example with his hardworking nature.
An outstandingly talented all-round golfer with statistics aligned and bettering PGA Tour averages.
Sam has won multiple national titles over the past few seasons, and his final 18 months will go down as one of the finest in recent amateur history.
An unrelenting appetite for victory led to Bairstow’s selection and leadership position in both the England Elite Squad and GB&I squads.
Making his debut at the 2022 Alfred Dunhill Links, Sam moves into the paid ranks with the confidence of already having outperformed experienced professionals, with two victories in professional events, whilst still an Elite Amateur and a 2022 Open Championship performance that saw him triumph over 18 former Major Champions.
Unrivalled under pressure and one of the most exciting UK prospects in recent years.
In time away from the golf course, Sam can often be found either socialising in the Pool Hall of Hallowes Golf Club or catching the football at his hometown club, Sheffield United. A keen traveller, Sam’s amateur career has taken him to many different locations, with South Africa his favourite to date. Outside of sport, Sam loves his film and music, watching and listening to a mix of genres. If he had to choose a favourite in each, it would be One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest and The Gambler by Kenny Rogers.
