
Lily May Humphreys
Lily’s career is the most prolific in the history of Ladies UK amateur golf.
A serial winner in Europe, she played Curtis Cup at 16 years of age and played for the English Ladies National squad from the age of 15. A very strong all-round game with a swing speed of 100mph, some 6mph quicker than the average on the Ladies PGA Tour. Lily is comfortably in the top 5% as regards to power in the paid ranks.
Lily won the domestic grand slam before she was 17 years old, a record.
Humphreys’ transition to professional was nothing short of emphatic, a win in her first start on the LETAS in Belgium was only the start of a commanding year which delivered Rookie of the Year and Order of Merit titles. Lily was compelling in securing her 2022 LET Card inside only 6 months.
Opening the 2023 season in significantly strong form, Lily was resounding on route to a maiden LET title at the Joburg Open, a win which cements Lily’s position as an individual well on the path to golf’s most illustrious and lucrative heights.
Lily’s favourite things off the golf course are baking, spending time with animals and watching films. She loves treating her family and friends on their birthdays with her specialities, Double Chocolate Cake and Tiramisu. Lily has a cat named Rosie and is very keen to add a dog to the family! Her favourite film is Now You See Me and favourite golf course is Augusta National!!
