Gough possesses a relentless will to perform at the highest level and a game which shows very few mistakes. Even more importantly, John has

a complete respect for those around him, a trait that will see him go far both on and off the golf course.

The tough youngster cemented his position as the most successful domestic amateur in the last 35 years, with an unprecedented seven victories in his final thirty months as an amateur. Those championship feats are made even more compelling when you consider John’s title success spans five countries and three continents.

One of the most touted European potentials since Sergio Garcia, John’s strokeplay achievements combine with an unrivalled matchplay prowess that was personified in his standout role and performances at the 2023 Walker Cup in St Andrews.
