Frank Warren becomes ambassador for Trinifold ahead of British Masters

The International Boxing Hall of Famer has guided the careers of the likes of Tyson Fury, Naseem Hamed and Frank Bruno – and now he has joined Trinifold Sports Management as an ambassador, a role that will see him advise Trinifold’s stable of young golfers.

“I’ve long admired the work Trinifold Sports provide for young people,” Warren said. “So it’s great to be joining as an ambassador.”

Trinifold’s golf programme empowers young athletes through an unparalleled set of support systems that equips them for life and sport, but also provides critical life perspective through an affiliation with the Teenage Cancer Trust, and offers an alternative career pathway beyond competitive golf.

It’s an approach that appeals to Warren.

“Throughout my decades as a promoter I’ve always looked to develop the best young talent into champions and I now look forward to supporting the brilliant Trinifold team replicate the same in golf,” he said.

Trinifold’s CEO James Byers is excited about the collaboration.

“Frank is a great guy and probably the most successful sports promoter in the world,’ he said.

“He also has a great endeavour to help young people which is a quality we share.

“Frank has guided a lot of young fighters, like Daniel Dubois and Moses Itauma, and there’s a lot of synergy between what he’s doing with his fighters and what we’re doing with our young golfers.

“It’s about advising them correctly, not just in the sport but in all walks of life.

“Supporting young people on their journey matters to us. Trinifold provides a financial commitment to the players so they have no fears of costs building up and hanging over their heads as their careers begin.

“All administration is taken care of while mental health is carefully monitored. If any of the kids are suffering with any anxieties, we help out and we’ll pay for support. It’s critically important to us.

“Frank will be advising our young golfers and his experience and expertise will be invaluable to them. It’s also going to be wonderful to see the interactions between the boxers and golfers in the future.”

Keeping it as short and sharp as a well aimed jab, Trinifold’s chairman Bill Curbishley said: “To be frank, I’m delighted that Frank’s involved!”

Warren’s support will add to a portfolio of Trinifold investors that includes former global heads of Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank.

Byers said: “These gentlemen have one common denominator which is a great passion for what we’re doing in not just helping young people fulfil their aspirations, but providing a safety net and an extension to Plan A.

“In other words, we’re giving the kids a chance to concentrate on their dreams and goals, but to do so free of financial anxieties and worries about their welfare – and if professional golf does not work out, we find a future for them that reflects their qualities and skill sets.

“We’re completely alone and unique in providing that holistic approach.”

Like Warren, Trinifold specialises in identifying young talent with a high ceiling and Spain’s Carla Tejedo Mulet is a prime example of how Trinifold eases the passage from the amateur to paid ranks.

After turning professional in late 2024, the 24-year-old graduated from the LPGA Tour’s second tier at the first time of asking in 2025.

She opened her rookie campaign on the LPGA with a top five finish in the Founders Cup, recorded an impressive T23 on her AIG Women’s Open debut, and is on track to retain her card.

“What makes Trinifold Sports unique is that they are so much more than an agency to me,” she says. “They truly care about me, not only as an athlete, but as a person.

“They have supported me, believed in me and helped me so much throughout my journey. They are an important part of my success, my team, and over time, they have become part of my family.

“I know they are always there for me, and that means everything.”

Trinifold has also pioneered a unique pathway for its stable of male golfers which involves an early season tournament at Club de Golf Alcanada in Mallorca with the winner earning starts on the Challenge Tour.

In 2023 Will Enefer started his year on the minor tours, won the Mallorca qualifier, and performed so well on the Challenge Tour he had graduated to the DP World Tour by the end of the year – it was a journey that could only have been made via Trinifold’s unique innovation.

Trinifold is also proud of its ability to adapt a course of action for every individual.

For example, Wentworth scholar Kris Kim, who made the cut on the PGA Tour aged 16, was initially keen to transfer straight from the amateur to professional game.

After reflection with Trinifold’s team, Kim is now taking up a full scholarship with Arizona State University – alma mater of Phil Mickelson, Jon Rahm, Paul Casey and 2024 US Amateur champion Josele Ballester.
